How to use these tools well
Calculators are screening and estimation tools, not diagnoses or prescriptions. The HbA1c converter, BMI tool, glucose unit converter, eGFR calculator, and time-in-range estimator are safe to use on your own — they help you understand a number you’ve been given. The carb & bolus calculator is intended as a learning aid: never use it to set or change insulin doses without your diabetes team’s input.
